We sometimes think of money in a negative way: I don't have enough money to pay my bills, or to go on vacation, or my credit card debt is too high, I don't know how to control my spending. But what if we changed those negative thoughts about money and our relationship with it to something positive. For example, instead of I am spending too much money, reframe those thoughts to highlight the successes, even the small ones you have made toward your spending habits. Little by little, things will start to change.
