Want a Good Credit Score?

In the past, I tackled the challenge of boosting my credit score head-on. Despite going through a challenging divorce, I persevered. Throughout that tough time, one piece of advice echoed consistently:

Pay On Time! Pay On Time! Pay On Time!

This really didn't make sense to me until someone explained the factors that made up my credit score. Although the amounts I owed were small, I had a hard time paying bills on time. As a result, my credit score suffered. Once I started making the payments on time, even if they were only minimum payments, my score increased. I kept this up until I was able to pay off bills/amounts owed. This two-fold effort did more to help my credit score than anything else.

As a Money Champion, you too can have a higher credit score! Just do what I did and PAY ON TIME!
